Here is  square #10 from the Sensational Sampler, a free crochet baby blanket. Just use an H hook, and block it to 8″. Then you can work a round of dc around it to make an even 9″ block. What a pretty square it makes. I wonder how many squares you have worked up so far? I’d love to hear how you are coming along. I will have all the squares posted shortly, in time for you to make something lovely for Christmas!

Row 1: Dc in 4th ch from hook, dc in next ch, *skip next 2 ch, dc in next ch, ch 3, 3 dc around the post of last dc made, skip next 2 ch, dc in each of next 3 ch; rep from * across, turn.

Row 2: Ch 3 (count as dc), skip first dc, dc in each of next 2 dc, *ch 2, sc in next ch-3 loop, ch 2, skip next dc, dc in each of next 3 dc; rep from * across, ending with last dc in 3rd ch of tch, turn.

Row 3: Ch 3 (count as dc), skip first dc, dc in each of next 2 dc, *skip next ch-2 sp, dc in next sc, ch 3, 3 dc around the post of last dc made, skip next ch-2 sp, dc in each of next 3 dc; rep from * across, ending with last dc in 3rd ch of tch, turn.

Rows 4 – 13: Repeat Rows 2 and 3 (5 times more).

Row 14: Repeat Row 2, Finish off, weave in ends, block.
