Yes, I know I went nuts this year. I was waiting on some yarn to be delivered for a design project, and of course I had to crochet something. After all – I did have a red hot hook in my hand. So two days later, we have 8 brand new dishcloth designs. What can I say??? Thank goodness my yarn arrived before I went completely overboard.
Our first dishcloth was designed as a result of admiring a rug I saw. My brain thinks in crochet, so I had to try and replicate the design pattern. A small project such as a dishcloth will work nicely. Doesn’t look exactly like the rug, but the same overall effect was achieved. The colors I chose give me the feel of peaceful ocean waves, and I hear them rolling onto the beach along with the caws of seagulls circling overhead. Now that you’re in the mood – let’s get started!
