I hope you all are staying home and staying safe. Today I cooked a 21 lb turkey! I have the time, so….. 😉 It was delicious – and I won’t have to cook for quite a while now. More crochet time!!!
I have really enjoyed seeing all the colorful dishcloths that you made last week, as well as the cute little Checkerboard Coaster. All those who are essential workers get a great big shout out from the rest of us! We appreciate what you’re doing to take care of everyone and to help keep the economy going. Everyone keep up the good work, do your part – and I’ll keep giving you some fun crochet patterns to work on.
Here’s a SPECIAL SALE that I’ve extended for the month of April to celebrate National Crochet Month. Get 30% off all my self-published patterns with coupon code NATCROMO2020. No quantity limits, unlimited purchases. Here’s a link to my Ravelry Store.
If you’re not acquainted with the Quarantine CAL – here’s a recap.
1. Each week I’ll give you a special link so you can view a bundle of eight (8) different dishcloth patterns designed by me. From the eight (8) pattern bundle, you can choose one or more to make for that week. Your choice.
2. Each week we’ll present Paisley’s Pick. My granddaughter, Paisley, has joined the CAL in a very fun way. She has chosen her own special dishcloth for each week and will present artwork and photos for your enjoyment. If you choose to make Paisley’s Pick, we’d love to see your creative photos of that dishcloth. I’ve already shown her all the great photos from last week’s Pick that you’ve shared. She’s so excited to see them. 🙂
3. Each week I’ll present a new coaster design in combination with your dishcloth choices. These coasters are pretty and quick to make. You can easily make a set of 6 or 8 in a day’s time. Just use the same cotton for both the dishcloths and the coasters.
Let’s get started with Week 2!
