In 2006 my husband and I visited France. One of the highlights was Versailles. It was absolutely gorgeous. I can’t believe the opulence that people lived in. It was extraordinary! Everything was gold and glitter. This was the inspiration for my latest 12″ square, aptly named “Versailles.” Here are some photos from our trip. They were all taken by me, so they aren’t the best. 🙂 But  it was one trip I will surely never forget.
