Today’s dishcloth is named after my Aunt Carolyn. My dad had two younger sisters, and Carolyn was the older of the two. She grew up to marry my Uncle Dale, and they had six children. There were five kids in my family, so when we all got together, there was never a quiet moment. Aunt Carolyn had a green thumb and always gave us cuttings of whatever she was growing at the time. She was a great cook – especially using her garden bounty, and her house always smelled yummy. She even operated her own little donut shop for many years – which was a favorite stop among the truckers.
