I know I’m a little bit late on this design – thank you all for your patience. It was due to be published on the first day of winter, December 21, 2018. Unfortunately – or maybe fortunately, depends on how you look at it – I moved over the holidays and just couldn’t publish on schedule. I was without internet for a couple of weeks before everything got settled in my new place. And BTW – I looooove my new place. I’m much closer to my 82 yr. old mom and my kids and grands. It’s such a cozy place, and I’m still working on getting things organized and set up the way I want.
So let’s get to my final shawl design for the Poetic Shawls Collection. This is a unique shape – I think a half hexagon. Love the way the stitches reflect snowflakes or frosted windows. I chose a yarn color that really represents the winter theme, and of course, I used Cascade Yarns as with all the four shawls.

As with the previous 3 shawls, this design is inspired by a poem. Here’s one of my favorite poets, Sara Teasdale. I really love her writing. I hope you get inspired by it also.
