Special Stitches:
Cl V-St: Work 2 dc in specified st until last lp of each rem on hk (3 lps on hk), yo and draw through all 3 lps, ch 3, work 2 dc in same st until last lp of each rem on hk (3 lps on hk), yo and draw through all 3 lps.
Picot: Ch 3, insert hk back into the top of the base st, yo, pull through all lps on hk.
Partial Dc: Yo, insert hk into sp indicated, pull up a lp, yo and draw through 2 lps on hk.
DcCl: (Partial Dc in next ch-3 sp) twice, yo and draw through all 3 lps on hk. Counts as 1 st.
Instructions:
Row 1: Ch 1, sc in first st, [ch 3, sk next 3 sts, Cl V-St in next st, ch 3, sk next 3 sts, sc in next st] to end, turn.
Row 2: Begdc in first st, dc in next ch-3 sp, [ch 3, sc in ch-3 sp of next Cl V-St, (picot, sc) 3 times in same ch-3 sp, ch 3, DcCl over next 2 ch-3 sps] to end omitting last DcCl, partial dc in last sc, yo and draw through all 3 lps on hk, turn.
Row 3: (Begdc, 2 dc) in first st, [ch 3, 5 dc in top of next DcCl] to end omitting last 2 dc and placing last 3 dc in last st, turn.
Row 4: Ch 1, place 1 sc in each dc and 3 sc in each ch-3 sp to end, turn.
Rows 5 – 8: Rep Rows 1 – 4.
Place a SM in last free lp and wait for tomorrow’s stitch pattern.
You should end with the same number of sc that you started with.
