Special Stitches:
Shell: (Dc, ch 1) 3 times in same st/sp.
Cl: Work 3 tr in same st until last lp of each rem on hk (4 lps on hk), yo and draw through all 4 lps.
Sc2tog: (Insert hk in next st, yo and pull up lp) twice, yo and draw through all lps on hk.
Instructions:
Row 1: Begdc in first st, ch 3, sk next st, [sc in next st, ch 1, sk next 2 sts, Shell in next st, sk next 2 sts, sc in next st, ch 3, sk next 2 sts, dc in next 2 sts, ch 3, sk next 2 sts] to end omitting last ch-3, turn.
Row 2: Begdc in first st, [ch 1, (Cl in next dc, ch 3) twice, Cl in next dc, ch 1, dc in next 2 dc] to end omitting last dc, turn.
Row 3: Begdc in first st, [(ch 3, sc in next ch-3 sp) twice, ch 3, dc in next 2 dc] to end omitting last dc, turn.
Row 4: Begdc in first st, [ch 3, sc in next ch-3 sp, ch 1, Shell in next ch-3 sp, sc in next ch-3 sp, ch 3, dc in next 2 dc] to end omitting last dc, turn.
Rows 5 – 6: Rep Rows 2 – 3, turn.
Row 7: Ch 1, sc in first st, 3 sc in next ch-3 sp, [(sc in next sc, 3 sc in next ch-3 sp) twice, sc2tog over next 2 dc, (3 sc in next ch-3 sp, sc in next sc) 3 times] to end, place last sc in last dc, turn.
Place a SM in last free lp and wait for tomorrow’s stitch pattern.
You should end with the same number of sc that you started with.
