CAL – Dishcloth #6
April 27, 2018

Today’s dishcloth is designed in honor of my Aunt Margaret. The pattern incorporates some fun special stitches and definitely reminds me of her. She was such a fun person to be around, and I imagine that if she had ever crocheted, she would have been a crochet renegade. No ordinary stitches for her. Let’s cross a few this way and cross a few that way! That’s the Margaret I know and love.
I spent so many fun filled hours over the years with Aunt Margaret. She was my mom’s younger and only sibling. She was such a cool Aunt. For hours on end we played all sorts of card games. Uno, Rummy, 21, Spoons, and Killer – just to name a few. She had an infectious laugh, and you couldn’t help but join in. I always remember her with a great big smile. I hope you like your dishcloth, Aunt Margaret. We crocheted outside the lines for you.
