STITCH GUIDE: Dc= double crochet
SPECIAL STITCHES: V-st: In sp or st indicated work (1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc).
COMMENCE PATTERN:
Ch 5, join with sl st to form a ring.
Rnd. 1: Ch 3 (count as dc now and throughout), work 11 dc in ring, join with sl st to beg ch 3, (12 dc)
Rnd. 2: Ch 4 (count as dc, ch 1, now and throughout), [dc in next dc, ch 1] rep around, join with sl st to 3rdch of beg ch-4. (12 ch-1 sps)
Rnd. 3: Sl st into next ch-1 sp, ch 3, dc in same sp, [ch 1, 2 dc in next ch-1 sp] rep around ending with ch-1, join with sl st to beg ch-3.
Rnd. 4: Sl st to next ch-1 sp, ch 3, 2 dc in same sp, [ch 1, 3 dc in next ch-1 sp] rep around ending with ch-1, join with sl st to beg ch-3.
Rnd. 5: Sl st to next ch-1 sp, ch 3, 2 dc in same sp, [ch 2, 3 dc in next ch-1 sp] rep around ending with ch-2, join with sl st to beg ch-3.
Note: To change colors here, finish off color A, attach color B to middle dc, begin at #.
Rnd. 6: Sl st to middle dc, # ch 4, dc in same st, *V-st in next ch-2 sp**, skip next dc, V-st in next dc, skip next dc, rep from * around ending last rep at **, join with sl st to 3rd ch of beg ch-4.
Rnd. 7: Sl st to next ch-1 sp, ch 4, dc in same sp, [ch 1, V-st in next V-st], rep around ending with ch-1, sl st to 3rdch of beg ch-4.
Rnd. 8: Sl st to next ch 1 sp, ch 1, sc in same sp, ch 2, dc in next ch-1 sp, ch 2, sc in middle of next V-st, [ch 2, dc in next ch-1 sp, ch 2, sc in next V-st] around, ch 2, join to beg sc. Finish off.
