May Craft-a-Poem
May 30, 2011

I’m a tad late on this project, but nonetheless, here it is. My crochet project for May is an 8″ square I designed especially for Mother’s Day called “Mother’s Corsage.” It is worked up in The Unique Sheep Tinsel Toes fingering weight yarn, which gives it an extra delicate look. The pattern is exclusive to The Unique Sheep’s Crochet Block-of-the-Month-Club.

Here is the poem I chose to accompany this crochet block.

To My Mother
by Robert Louis Stevenson

You too, my mother, read my rhymes
For love of unforgotten times,
And you may chance to hear once more
The little feet along the floor
.

Love the poem! Thanks to Sara from Lazy Knits and Purls for sponsoring this contest. I hope you all have as much fun as I do.  And on that note, I hope you all have a great crochet day.
