Here’s the 8″ square for the August Craft-a-Poem. It is called Tangled Threads. The center resembles a spider web. It is written specifically for fingering weight yarn.
TANGLED THREADS
The accompanying poem is written by Sir Walter Scott. Marmion, published in 1808, produced some of his most memorable lines. Canto VI , Stanza 17 reads:
Yet Clare’s sharp questions must I shun
Must separate Constance from the nun

If I could only put into words just what your work has done for me. I care for my 8yr old granddaughter whom has a very,very rare heart defect. She lives with only two heart chambers. We're in the hospital so much that it keeps us away from our home for literally months at a time,up to as long as six months. Although I have a small private charity room I can return to in the evenings~ I choose to stay in that really tiny hospital room by here side. There are times I miss being home so terribly and the worry can consume you because here health is so precarious ~ we just don't know from day to day. Sometimes,I truly believe~The only way I made it through was having your designs to get me through. Being able to take my mind off the worry and the fear, really kept me from falling apart. Yourself and Donna's generosity got me through some really tough nights of not being able to sleep.With the worry and the constant noise from all the equipment~the repeated but welcomed intrusion from doctor's and nurses I thought I would lose my sanity. Please believe me when I say that being able to go somewhere else in my head gave me the strength I needed for another day ahead. Also the beautiful gifts Im able to give to those that care for my little angel, makes me feel as though I'm somehow giving back. I can say Thank you to the both of you but it somehow doesn't seem to be enough. If I could afford your amazing unique sheep blocks,I would have those as well. So much talent between the two of you. I am such a big fan. I'm truly in awe of what you and Donna do. Thank you for making my life a little easier and providing me with moments of comfort in a not so comfortable place to be.( Nanakimmie@Ralvery) I can't always check my mail here but I can access the internet and Thank the lord I'm still able to visit Ralvery.
