This week of the My Favorite Things CAL brings us the tried and true granny square. Every crocheter has worked their fair share of grannies, and it is the “go to” of crochet. Who doesn’t love a granny? Naturally, I had to incorporate the granny into this design, as it is the backbone of crochet. I also gave it a little twist. We will work the granny in rows instead of in the round. Granny needs a new look sometimes, so let’s go for it! I also included another simple, but lovely stitch this week. The Lemon Peel square adds just a touch of interesting texture and is the perfect complement to the Granny. Let’s get hooking!
